Hey ya'll! Long Time No See! I have been super busy working like crazy, but then something thought to be Asthma has thrown me for a rude awakening. A doc saying, "You may have Lymphoma."

For those of you who don't know what Lymphoma is here is a Wikipedia definition:

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphocytes, a type of cell that forms part of the immune system. Typically, lymphoma is present as a solid tumor of lymphoid cells. Treatment might involve chemotherapy and in some cases radiotherapy and/or bone marrow transplantation, and can be curable depending on the histology, type, and stage of the disease.

Quick Timeline:
June 20th: Chest Xray
June 21st: News of probable lymphoma
June 27th: Left Jugular Lymph Nodules Removed from Lymph Node via Biopsy
June 28th: 99% Positive Hodgkin's Lymphoma
July 3rd: Pathology Diagonosis: Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin's Lymphoma

I have created a blog just because of this. This blog is about the story of my journey with handling the news that I have Lymphoma, and the journey through diagnosing it properly, treatment, and conquering it. Once I received the news, I started doing tons of research on Lymphoma about the causes, symptoms, staging, treatments, and everything else that goes along with my form of cancer. I would stay up 2 to 3 hours laying in bed at night researching all the different types of Lymphoma's there was and everything that had to go along with each one. Not knowing what you have and the unknown is the hardest part. There was plenty of general information about everything, along with some blogs here and there of personal experiences through treatment, but not much in complete depth. My goal on this blog is to provide a complete experience of all my doctor visits, Xray, CT, and PET Scans, my outpatient biopsy, bone marrow biopsy, pulmonary test, Echocardiogram, visits with my oncologist, and each treatment visit along with how I feel on each day through out my treatment. This will hopefully give an overall picture to those who will come behind me facing the same obstacle of Lymphoma and the fear of the unknown. Hopefully this will give some comfort and preparation and knowing what to expect by being able to read what I went through.

I know I have a road ahead of me, and you know me, I never give up, and I am not about to give up now! I still got too much gaming left in me to do! I gotta get some stuff for work squared away first and with this extra curricular activity that has decided to attach itself to me, rather than me to it, I guess that now that will be later than sooner, but hey, life's life, we all have our battles to fight, some we choose, others are thrown upon us.

Thanks for reading my blog as well. I figured that I would create my blog because I had to keep repeating myself to friends, family members and clients about what was going on, what's next, how I was feeling etc. I figured I would write it once and let everyone else just read it

WOW bro, I am way sorry to hear this! You will be in our hearts and thoughts, and we will be pulling for you to beat this!!!! I kinda know what you are going thru, my wife is going through her 3rd battle with this damn stuff! Someone needs to find a cure for all cancers and stop spending money on things that we should not be spending it on! Keep your head up and your mind aggressive! FIGHT! Never give up or surrender to it! It will not beat you!
