CG, here is that tutorial I made for you in Camtasia.

If it won't play directly in IE or Firefox (depending on how you have it set up) then right click and save it and then play it local.

Thanks Eagle!!! Much appreciated. 
I was messing around with the pen tool earlier...trying it with a Keira Knightley picture...had issues with the hair....

Hair is hard. Take a look at a tutorial for the "mask" tool to see another approach that works nice for more complicated cut-outs like hair.
