im not really smart on the topic with the economy and stuff but maybe the government is waiting to drill oil until other countrys need it so we can sell it for lots of money and get us out or close to being out of debt?

All I do for the most part is drive to and from work, 5-7 days a week, at about 15 miles a round trip... 2 weeks ago, I bought a 2007 Honda Rebel 250 (last one the dealer had left from last year, still brand new)... It's a very small motorcycle, handles the highway part of my trip well and has a 2.5 gallon gas tank... Over 100 miles later, and I still have yet to flip to the reserve... Granted, I still drive the truck when the weather is bad or is supposed to get be bad, but in 2 weks, I have yet to need to buy gas...
Once the tank gets low enough to fill, I'll post my MPG in here, and maybe a pic or 2 of it... |
Rode a Rebel 250 for a while and got 80mpg.
Currently riding a Ninja 650R which gets 50-51 mpg at 80mph. I spend $16.00 a week on gas

Has anyone seen this:
The Air Cars
Compressed air is an energy vector that can be used, in a viable way, to transport both people and goods.
The main goal of Air Car Factories is to develop and manufacture a vehicle driven by a compressed air engine with a level of performance that will respond to the actual needs of todays market. With this aim we have drawn up a full agenda and an R&D plan of action for production start up.

The US government never wait for the opportunity to get it's hands on money.
What get me is the same bunch of nuts who complaining about the cost of the war are forcing us to send billions of dollars each day out of the country to buy oil at we have here in country.
The US Congress has stop offshore drilling near the state of Florida. meanwhile the Chinese are drilling for oil for Cuba 60 miles off the cost of Florida.
