I had been hearing about a local Guitar Hero tournament for the past few days on the radio, so I thought I would try my hand in it. Quite a few people showed up to play, but after they watched the first round a lot of them turned around and left. First prize was a Fender Starcaster. After a few 100%'s I took home the grand prize! I had been saving for quite awhile for a beginner guitar. Now I can use that money for an amp, strap, picks, and whatever else I'll need. One of my buddies that plays guitar is going to give me his old amp, so I should be set up to start messing around with it this weekend.
