You can’t install SendTo FTP in Windows Vista. You’ll get an error message when trying to install. I found out that there is no problem running SendTo FTP on Vista, except that the installer disallows installation. If you want to use SendTo FTP on Vista, follow the steps below.
1. Install SendTo FTP in Windows XP.
2. Copy the whole SendTo FTP folder from C:\Program Files\SendTo FTP in XP to C:\Program Files\SendTo FTP in Vista.
3. Create a Sndtoftp.exe shortcut from the program’s folder and place it to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo. You can rename the shortcut to SendTo FTP, otherwise it’ll look like “Sndtoftp.exe - Shortcut”. You need to enable “Show hidden files and folders” in your folder options to see the AppData folder.

hey thanks ,
I just cleaned ws_ftp from my registry, after uninstalling, and went back to the previous version..all is well
I like the idea of thumbnail generation that right load claims to have but never could get that one to work properly.
I did find this which is convenient..http://fireftp.mozdev.org/
create the sendtoftp just the same, maybe someone else can use it?

I just installed RightLoad in Vista here, and it seems to work fine (sent some things up to the uZa server). If you have problems, be sure to check if your server supports "passive" or "active" protocols. That setting will give you fits if wrong.
