I only played MGS1 and MGS2 I never played MGS3 or MGSPortable Ops (which I heard is supposed to be important to the storyline).So im sure im missing out on some stuff

I will say this. Wii and 360 are the way to go for games. There is absolutely nothing on the PS3 games wise except a few titles. I mainly got it for the Blu-ray and media benefits. |
Indeed. I got a buddy who added external storage and has a Blu-Ray player on his PC. He rips Blu-Rays to his PS3 and watched them on his HD TV. He says the quality is perfect though starage size is retarded! hahhah

Couldn't stand it. Found a few of the MSG4 Bundled ones at BB and picked one up. Haven't even played anything (Though my wife has already downloaded and played Crash Bandicoop 1 and 2 hahaha) but have watched a Blu-Ray movie. Quality looks good!

Haha. Well I'm telling you right now MGS4 is worth the price of the PS3. It's that good. It is a great game, but you have to play the other ones first. I can't stress that enough. It would be like reading the last 20 pages of a book. The entire game is based on things from the old game. You need to know what happened then to know whats going on now. With that said, I honestly believe it will take game of the year with ease.

Ewwwww..... Because of my heavy disdain for Shooters on Console systems, I only had the game in for about 30 mins or so but I will say this, the game is easily the best looking game graphically that I think I've ever seen in person.

Me and my buddy got Uncharted: Drake's Fortune yesterday, anyone here played it.
It is really fun so far, and the graphics are quite good. check it out.
