I just updated to patch 1.7 When I try to join in a server the game crashes with an error & all I get is a black screen.

ugh... Best advice I can give is to save off your ../players folder, then uninstall the whole mess, remove the directory of ../activision, reinstall from DVD, then apply 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 again. (1.5 has all earlier stuff in it)

| I reinstalled the game.I am having trouble getting all the patches.Do I have to install all of them from 1.1 to 1.7
|

no its just you its been fine for me both on pc and console if you get that much trouble on pc just get console version no updates no BS
