Setting aside the racism he and his wife spew forth almost on a daily basis, he has absolutely no qualifications to be the leader of the free world. A junior Senator with 4 years experience - the last 2 years spent running for president? I don't think so...

Face it, 80% of Americans are idiots. They don't educate themselves and actually learn a little something before they sheepishly go out and vote for who their friends vote for, or for who Oprah endorses etc.
I already knew all these things about Obama before seeing this. Do people know that McCain wasn't even born in the U.S.? Panama.
Both media bloated names don't even touch on the real issues we face. We are about to go to war with Iran, and nobody seems to give a rip. There is much greater spending and military presence in Afghanistan than Iraq, yet it's all about Iraq. Iran is absolutely no threat to the U.S., but to Israel.. a powerful war ally and big spender.
Common sense is a vote for Ron Paul, Bob Barr by definition. They are the closest thing to republican. McCain is like a Liberal bulletin board that idiots keep pinning messages to, waiting for the screwy mouth to speak the messages. He is like a 5-star performance flushing toilet.

We are screwed because every stinking liberal in this country will vote for this a$$hole, who doesnt desert to live in this country. I am not a big McCain fan either, but he is a war hero and at least he loves this country. I agree with Morgoth, but I look at it like the which one is less evil and my answer always comes up Mc Cain.

Thats funny Hogan, please tell me who is the president of the USA right now and what party he represents. Please get your facts straight, both the liberals and the conservatives have destroyed. The last poll I saw, the US Govt as a hole, both Congress, the Senate and the President have an overall approval rating of 9%. To put that in perspective if you took all the people in insane asylums it would add up to 9%.
For all you people that voted for GWB once I pity you. For all of you that voted for GWB twice, I blame you.
Once again I say this, all you have to do is vote for someone else. Any. I truely mean anyone. I freaking chimp in the zoo. I am not being facetious. We have put so many bad people in office its the only way. The lesser of two evils has now become just voting for the other guy. No matter how bad you think they are they cannot do any worse that what we currently have. 9% approval. How much worse can the other guy be? Nothing a snipers bullet cant solve.

Recoon, I do have my facts straight! It is all the liberals, just becasue I did not say both parties, that is exactly what I meant bro. We dont have a choice anymore. They narrow it down to two useless SOB's and we have to pick one. What other choices do we have? None! Obama scares me more then any other candidate that has ever run before. He would sell this country out in a second. Why vote for someone who does not stand a chance? Do you think anyone else would vote for them? I mean enough to matter, no because we have become a very pathetic country and no one cares beyond what affects them here and now.
My dad is probably rolling over in his grave at the way this country has gone to shit. This is not what he fought for in WWII.

I understand the point that Recon was attempting to make, however, given the changes in our political landscape in recent years, his argument does not hold water.
There was a time when you could associate the title of "liberal" with the democrat party (I don't call them the "democratic" party because they aren't) and the term "conservative" with republicans. No longer can we do that. Hogan is correct in that both parties have moved further to the left, so much so that it is difficult to distinguish between them. I have become totally disgusted with the republicans and their spinesless inability (unwillingness) to stand up for the Constitution and real liberty. They have simply become democrats with an "R" next to their names.
Having said that I will now address the real culprit; Americans themselves! Ignorant, apathetic, lazy, coach potato, Jerry Springer watching, global-warming believing, shallow, narcissistic, sheep-like, always wanting something for nothing, AMERICANS!!!!
How can anyone with a brain that actually works, look at and listen to a Barak Obama and believe anything he says?! Hell, the man has a voting record, LOOK AT IT! Why are they willing to overlook John McCain's voting record and proposals for more government just because he served in the Navy and was a POW. I respect the man's service as much as the next guy. I appreciate the hardships he suffered through as a POW and am happy that he was able to survive. But, that does not give him a pass when it comes to proposing legislation that restricts my freedom as an American.
I challenge any of you who know an Obama supporter to simply ask them, "Why are you going to vote for Obama?" I've tried it and I am still waiting for an answer. You'll hear things like, "Oh, he will change the way things are done in Washington, D.C." To which you may wonder, "How will he change them?" You will not get a cogent, thoughtful, fact-based answer. He just makes them feel good.
This gets back to the ignorance I speak of so often. These same people know nothing of socialism/communism and its failures throughout history (is history important?). If you were to ask them, "How long have you been a socialist?," many of them couldn't even tell you what a socialist is. These are the people with their hands out always wanting something from the government. They remind me of the clown who was recently interviewed on a PBS radio program. This guy was former military and was being interviewed about a proposal before congress to stop funding PBS. he stated, "I hope that congress continues to pay for PBS, because if they don't then we (the American people) will have to pay for it." AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK CONGRESS GETS THE MONEY IT USES FROM?!!!
This sort of thing drives me insane. How can anyone who is born and has grown up in this country be so damned stupid about their own history and government?! AND THESE PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE! He probably thinks pro wrestling is real, too.
I suppose I could continue to rant about this, but if you haven't figured out how I feel about this by now, then you are.....wellll, just go watch Jerry Springer and eat some pork rinds.
