We have to be quiet. So when I am contacting some of my other techs we use txt messages. I also use it for family as well. I got rid of my landline about 3 years ago. Why be tethered to a wire in the wall? That doesn't even make any sense. When I am home my cellphone sits in its charger just where the landline phone used to live, and when I leave the house it goes in a pocket.
