Tips for a new character? |
|
|
Any recommendations on a new character that is easy to level? I am thinking of starting a new char on a PVP server...I have my 70 Warlock on a PVP server....that will camp out where I am questing.
Alliance char of course..
I have tried the shadow priest......Druid or Hunter looks fun....

Hunter is pretty quick to level up. Not too hard and is fun to play. Really fun for pvp.

Yes, Hunters or Rogues are 2 classes that usually are easy to level.

For solo play, hunters are the easiest to play and level. They are a lot of fun too, I play my hunters the most. For groups, a holy priest is always in high demand

Rogues are quick and easy especially if you choose to spec for leveling(combat). You can take down multiple mobs at a time. I have leveled my Warlock to 67 and I will say it's very easy when you spec leveling with the Felguard. You can take down elites not normally possible with other classes. Plus very low downtime since you can re-coup your mana with life-drain! good stuff.

I actually prefer the Hemo spec for leveling as it's less downtime and quicker kills. You just lose the Adren Rush talent that is a 5 minute cooldown "i win" button. Plus Hemo is still good in PVP

Rogue leveling 1-60 Combat: http://www.wowwiki.com/Rogue_builds#Leveling_to_60
A rogue is my main and if you want to level always use a slow weapon in the main hand (speed = 2.6/2.7 or best 2. and a fast off-hand for poisons (1.4/1.5). It can be a mace or sword or fist in the main hand you are specifically looking for slow speed to scale with Sinister Strike. A 2.5 speed 30dps sword is not as good as 2.8 speed 27dps sword for a combat rogue. Don't let the dps fool you!
Good luck!
