Joss Weadon is a master at dialog. That is what makes Firefly so good.

It's a movie which is better if you have watched at least the first few episodes of the TV show first, (which is probably why it wasn't a huge hit in theaters) so you have the "back story" and have been introduced to the characters. I still would watch it if I were you, as it's a good movie on its own, but if you can snag a copy of season one of the TV series "Firefly" first, you will like it even better.
