Optimal System Settings |

|
Everytime I open CoD2 or any other CoD game, I get this pop-up. My settings are never saved, even when I enter them into console using "/seta". Anyone know how to get it to stop popping up and have my settings saved?
Vista is fully updated, even the optional ones.

Do you have UAC enabled? I ask because where things are saved in games like COD is slightly different in Vista depending on whether UAC (User Access Control) is enabled or not.

Okay so I turned UAC off, so there is no more pop-up when I start the game. However, It wiped my game clean, even though when I checked my main CoD2 folder, everything was there. Now when I try to connect to server 3, I have to download all the maps, but all the current maps are in my CoD2 main folder.
EDIT: The message still pops up, and I still have to redownload the maps. Oh and what does it mean when the shield is at the bottom right corner (or next to the name of the file)?
