A day at the rifle range! |

Me and the M1 Garand:

I love shooting that rifle!
My 15 year old son with the Garand:

His first time ever actually shooting a firearm. We have had gun safety lessons at home, but never been to the range before now. He did very well and had a great time. See the smile when he finished?
Finally, this is my old friends 10 year old son. He fired every weapon that his dad brought with him. The only one he didn't finish was my Remington 700 firing Winchester 300 magnum rounds (150 grain). After two shots he decided the kick was a bit much.

We fired the M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, '03 Springfield, KAR98 Mauser, Mosin-Nagant, .303 British Enfield, SKS (7.62x39), and the Remington 700. They all have some kick, but the Remington REALLY kicked, and that was with only 150 grain rounds.
A good time was had by all. Fathers and their sons doing guy stuff. *grunt* Who could ask for more?

Man, I'd like to shoot some rifles. As much as I love guns (not in a creepy way), I've never fired even a pistol in my life. The closest I've ever come to firing a weapon is an airsoft and bee bee gun!
I wish video games would base the gunfire sounds from actual weapons. That 'd be sweet.

I am a rifle person, being as that is the only firearm allowed here in canada.
The 98k Mausers are a blast to shoot.

MRBAKER THERE ARE SOME VERY CLOSE AND SPOT ON VIDEO GAME SOUNDS OUT THERE, JUST DEPENDS ON THE MODS YOU USE.
UNFORTUNATELY, ACCORDING TO GOMER THE WRITING OF THE CODES FOR THOSE MODS ARE VERY INTENSE AND TIME CONSUMING , SO YOU CAN'T JUST THROW DIFFERENT SOUNDS ON WHEN YOU WANT THEM CHANGED.

Call of duty gun sounds are from real weapons of the time. Each one individually sampled.

Really? It doesn't sound like it. The Desert Eagle sounds different, and so does the p90.

I don't know why, but I get the instinctive feeling you're yelling at me.
