Hey Random, how are you doing? So tell me about WAR. I played beta all the way up to release but I still couldn't let go of WOW since they have implemented a ton of stuff for the casual player(like myself) along with the new Xpac coming.

I'm having a great time with WAR... totally burned out on WoW, the thought of going back to it after WAR doesn't sit well with me.
I'm a much more casual player than I was a year ago and WAR is much more casual friendly. Hell, I can logon for 20 minutes and get stuff accomplished. Plus, the WoW world was starting to seem, well, a little tarnished... needed a new world to explore.
What new items did WoW implement for the casual player? It's still going to be the same end game I would imagine, even after WotLK comes out. |
Well the main reason I'm voting er staying with WOW is because they are promising CHANGE. 
Actually, since Steph and I have no time to ever raid again we have been taking it slow and enjoying the game on a different level and at a different pace.
Blizz just added Achievements, much like war has, which allow you to perfrom things like obtain 50 vanity pets and rewards you with another. Or kill so many people in BGs and you can get a title. There are hundreds of these and I must say it's quite fun to try and reach the objectives.
They have also added all new talents and spells in the last patch to get prepped for WOTLK. It's been fun trying new things and basically oblitterating the older dungeons. Ever solo to the Baron in Strat. You can now! Fun stuff!
I look forward to WOTLK since they will implement Seige weapons, multi person mounts, many more quests that require bombing, seige weapons and such. They are also reducing the time it takes to complete dungeons to under 1 hour along with allowing 10 people to Raid a 25 man dungeon. They will adjust the 25 man accordingly to make it easier and drop a bit weaker quality stuff. This may be perfect for us because of timings.
Now I've already talked with Steph and we agree if we get bored with WOTLK we will come over to Warhammer. In fact that will most likely happen as we always run into the brick walls with WOW where we need breaks. Plus Project Nemesis(Relique) that we are currently part of is sort of breaking up. Most of the people who you know (Dagooch) are moving their mains to a PVP server to start over!
I wish I didn't have to sleep.

Come to WAR Boo. It's like... Fun and stuff. 
I won't lie. There are still a TON of bugs for them to work out but it's getting their and Mythic has been AMAZING in their response to the people so far.

Ok...tried to pick up this game again today.....I went to Wal-mart again and asked if they had "that warhammer game or something like that..." (always feel awkward asking about video games... )
...soon as it hits the shelves the game is sold.... 
Do you recommend buying it online?

I recommend Bestbuy CG. i was there earlier in the evening they had about 20+ copies out

I created a character, Dark Elf Sorceress. I am at level 4, hard to get use to the game, slowly getting it.
Though I am not liking her hair, might have to start over.
