You have to first finish Single Player. Then you're able to set up a Co-Op server with three more people and select the Zombie Mod.
We played on Eagle's server, but there is only room for four in total.

Thanksgiving is great and all, however I end up going to 4 different places for my mom's side and dad's side. Ends up being a little hectic.

You only have to finish single player to play zombie mode alone.Anyone who has the game can play co-op zombies.You do not play on a server as such the other 3 people actually play with you on your PC.
