When you sign up for Quake Live, you will go through this training. Not only does it give you basic info on the game and how it is played, but they judge your skill level during this training so they can match you up with people with a similar skill level. They don't want you to get discouraged by matching you up with some uber skilled 13 year old as a noob. I've actually only played Quake games a little at school when we had time away from class work. This seems like it will be right in my ball park because of money issues. I had to make a choice between investing in a guitar or getting some games with that money. I felt it was time to go on a bit different route and get a decent guitar. I'm also about to dish out a chunk for my next semester. Hopefully this FREE game will catch on, so I can play with some of you again. Glad you got in Freak. I think they might be getting ready to start the open beta soon. I see that they now have ads in the game and that they really don't interfere with gameplay. I just wish I wasn't so rusty at playing fps games, I really suck at it so far. I was in first place with about three minutes left in one of many countless rounds, and I ended at around seventh place.
