Some people have really wild imaginations.
It was probably nothing more than just a butterfly getting sucked into the blades.
As for the missing blade, just watch for it to show up on e-bay in the next few days.

From the descriptions, it sounds to me like a small meteor shower... Pretty much anything moving fast enough through our atmosphere generates enough heat to set the air immediately around it on fire, and if it is close enough to the ground, the static buildup from the friction will cause miniature lightning bolts between the object and the ground... As for the missing blade, it was probably pretty well vaporized on impact...

That sounds very possible.
But isn't it much more likely that little green men were drinking while driving their flying saucer to nearby galaxy... on the way the needed to stop for a 40oz. of Old English. Upon take off from the store, (where they purchased malt liquor), and hit the blade. The blade probably got stuck in the "grill" of the saucer. Very Simple!!!
Man, you guys & gals really have an active imagination to come up with all of those other ideas

LOL... I think Scientology believes in Jesus Morg. They just think that He is an alien that lives on another planet & will return for his second coming in a spaceship
