I thought I had lost these pics of my 1969 Camaro SS, but I just found them on an old thumb drive. Cool
Before with the original SS rims

During the switchout of the old rims to the new ones

After I finished

I always tried to keep my Camaro as original as possible, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on these tires and rims.
What do you think, improvement or not?
Confused

I love the new wheels, but be sure to keep the old ones in safe storage.

I like the BFGoodrich Radial TA's better, raised white lettering is awesome.

Also some taller wider tires might look a little better.

Try some 15" 295/50's or 275/60's in the back and 15" 235/60's or 245/60's in the front, radial TA's of course. Wink

Are the new wheels aluminum or steel?

Would you be willing to trade even for a 1998 Subaru Outback! Shocked Laughing

I must say the car is sweet! Cool

I don't see that as an improvement... The old muscle cars always look better with larger tires, and other than a few of the old Kragers, the stock rims were usually the best choice...

Those tiny tires with the oversized rims look ok on some of the rice burners, but not on classic American cars...

I like 'em, and they still have that krager look to them... I would however drop the nose down a bit to add to the effect.

When I rod my dart, I will have some nice newer wheels like that... but at the same time im tubbing out the back for larger wheels... and lowering the whole car quite low.. will be a sleek streamline sleeper when i'm done.. (althought I know your shocks haven't settled yet since you jacked it up in that pick).

Yes, stock is best. Fantastic ride you have, either way!

Nice car! I like the new rims better, one of my friends has a 69 that is deff not original but he had to redo the entire car bcs he picked it up from a scrap yard.

Thanks for all of your kind words about my "baby". Very Happy I put the new rims and tires on last spring thinking that I would get to drive it all summer, but then gas prices skyrocketed and it sat in my garage all summer. Crying or Very sadI hope I can drive it more this year though. Cool CG, you are always welcome to have a ride in my Camaro. Very Happy
