you will want to apply the Mercedes wheel wax ASAP. it prevents brake dust and road contaminants from sticking to your rims.

You have a clear bra on the front so be careful as you have it washed and detailed. I already see wax/polish build up along the films edge.
Also black shows everything, as I can already see some light marring from previous washing and drying. Treat it with kid gloves, if you have any questions regarding proper car care let me know.

This is incorrect.....it's not 10K's fault though as I'm sure he's just passing along information he has been given by another misinformed, but well meaning person.
As a wheel turns it creates a positive charge and as you apply your brakes the adhesives within the pads themselves rub off and are then attracted to your wheel.....actually your whole car becomes a rolling magnet due to static.....ever notice how your car seems to attract more dust just after you polish and wax it? That's because of static electricity generated by you rubbing on the car. Many detailers actually ground out a car as they polish it.
So nothing is going to keep brake dust from accumulating on your wheels, especially a wax based product, but a polymer sealant can make clean up much easier. There is also no need to buy a product labeled "Wheel Sealant" because there's no such thing, rather just use a polymer paint sealant, the same used on your paint, because that's exactly what a "wheel sealant" is......they just put it in a different bottle and change the name.
