I'm currently looking to upgrade my case. I started thinking about the different types available. This my me wonder what others look for and would like to see evolve in todays market of comp cases. Such as cooling choices arrangement for hardware and so on.

I prefer the bigger cases, ATX Full. More room to work with and easier to add lots of cooling and components.

I use: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pics of my system:

I have the Liquid Cooled version of that case. add another 5 inches to the front and about 20 more pounds. i also use the giant side fan which is extra.

Damn those are some badass cases.

Here is mine. I bought it back in early 06.

I would say get something with a lot of room, several fans, and is something well known. Read user reviews. Those are very important. People will say shit that you never thought about.

command-hole has that case, too.

let me tell you, if you are going with a new case, go full tower, and get one that is ATX-Extend and BTX compliant. Meet those parameters and the rest is up to personal taste. Mine tastes like metal.

Yeah its an OK case. There are better ones out there, but you have to cut costs where you can in order to play the higher end graphics. Its more for the guy that totes his shizzle to LAN parties. I like the blue lights and the temp monitors. I would, however, have liked a bigger case. It does keep everything fairly cool. I love the way the hard drives sit in the slots. They could have done the door a bit differently.

I am fully aware of what sections that are offer in these forums. I choose here because of the possibility that some people may not visit that particular part of them. And to gain a greater amount of feedback. Like maybe everyones opinions and not just a select group. Nurse Ratchet.
