Here's a little info on GH3:
"Barracuda" - Heart
"Cherub Rock" - Smashing Pumpkins
"Cult of Personality" - Living Colour
"Knights of Cydonia" - Muse
"The Metal" - Tenacious D
"My Name is Jonas" - Weezer
"Paint It, Black" - The Rolling Stones
"Rock and Roll All Nite" - Kiss
"Sabotage" - Beastie Boys
"School's Out" - Alice Cooper
"Slow Ride" - Foghat
In addition, bands confirmed to be contributing to the game include:
Queens of the Stone Age[8]
Velvet Revolver[9]
Concerning other bands, Huang also stated in an interview, "We've got a lot of songs and artists still that we would love to have. In particular, we've been trying to get Metallica, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin. So hopefully sometime in the near future, my wish and everybody's wish will come true and we can get some of their music in the game.

I am satisfied with every song on there so far. It also mentioned in the article that there are still a lot of "aces in the hole" that we don't know about yet. Hopefully it's some crazy good classic rock.

YEAH! I finally beat Carry Me Home on hard, and then finished out the Hard level. Although Freebird took me about a dozen times to finally beat it (only three stars ). Actually almost all the songs I beat was just with three stars, except Strutter. I nailed that one and got five stars!

You should carry into Expert pretty easily. It's not a whole lot worse until you get down to the later sets although Strutter is much tougher on Expert than it should be. I've five starred every song on hard except Carry Me Home, Institutionalized, Misirlou, and Psychobilly Freakout. No matter how hard I try, I can't five star any of those.

That is what I will probably work on next is trying to five star as many songs as I can on Hard. I have five starred all songs on Medium, even gold starred about a dozen or so. Can't wait for the 80's edition of GH2. That is going to rock!

The best thing to do is get as far as you can on expert and then when you play the hard songs again, its cake. Its amazing how much you actually improve and never realize until you go back and play those songs that you struggled with early and you flow right through it.
I sure wish the 360 was getting the 80's edition. There are some songs on there that I would love to play.
