Hehe! I'm not exceedingly tall, 6'3, I am very talented athletic wise, but I suck at basketball!
My wife even beats me occasionally at "H-O-R-S-E"

Tall does not equal great in anything except a "Tallest Man" competition, and I haven't watched many of those on television. Basketball is one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports in the world. It's a great combination of both. If you say you only have to be tall to be good, please explain the likes of Spud Web, or heck, Muggsy Bogues.

| ok ladies no need for a flame war people have there own beliefs/fav sport my comments were out for humor. Im 6'5 and not even close at being good at basketball.

There was a tallest man competition on TLC or a channel like that a month and a half ago.

Ahaha, it is, it was the tallest ppl in Great Britain i think it was
wasnt very enjoyable

No one is bashing anyone here.....when I use the word "ignorant" I don't mean it as a personal attack on the person but rather the mindset or statement made.
Ignorance is a condition which can be changed. I know nothing of brain surgery except where the brain is located so I am then "ignorant" in that area and if I tried to speak of it I would then be "ignorant" or an "ignaGOMERous"

Indeed. Calling someone Ignorant is simply stating that said person was obviously speaking about something they know little to nothing about. Not meant as a "BASH".

BTW, I DO play Basketball and DO consider myself a decent enough player. But I got that way by playing constantly from my elementary school days to today.
Of course I'm going to take a little offense to someone saying you only have to be tall to be good at Basketball.

Well, things are different where I am, aparrently. I've beaten guys at my school up to four inches taller than I am.
