finally got around to settin up my Playstation Store account last night, and man am i happy i did! downloaded a couple ooold school ps1 games, Jumping Flash and Destruction Derby...then moved onto bigger and badder things~!  Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection was 555 mbs, got it all down in a few minutes. then what's this i see?!~? Gran Tourismo HD Concept?? can it be? and for free?!? so yea i downloaded that immediately and got 1 track for the new GT 5 w/ a bunch of different cars (had to unlock them by playin the 1 track on a time trial mode). then i see what i've been hearin about forever...Drift Mode~! yea...it was pretty frickin hard @ 1st, but i can tell the drift mode is a keeper!  all time trials/ drifting scores are uploaded whenever u exit/change game modes, so it's always letting you know where your time/drift point status is...got into the top 20 for fastest laps w/ the 1st car yay!!!
Also tried out MotorStorm online, played great, no lag @ alllllll, and no x-box live payments!

Sweet. I heard there may be a PS3 price drop before the holidays. Maybe there is a PS3 in my future!

I heard the same and thought the same. If it drops low enough I'm picking one up.
Also, Xbox 360 > PS3 still Intense. Don't argue about how XBL is monthly payments--360 has Gears of War...and people are online 24/7. Same with Shadowrun. Most of the sports games as well.
Until PS3 gets some great PS3-only titles, I'm sticking with my 360.
And I know that Resistance is fun. But I'm not buying a console for 1 game.
BTW I can't wait until GTA:IV. It's going to rrrrrooooocccccckkkkkk!

What months do you guys class "the holidays"
This may be ideal as we are set hopefully to move to the US in a few months and we said we might as well wait and get a PS3 out in the Us as they are much cheaper and would save the hassle of getting power adapters and all that crap.
Also, what prices are they expected to fall down to?
