...like the video game industry is heading for another crash? I have noticed that none of the games coming out are really all that interesting. Yes, there are some "good" games out there, but as a whole the industry seems rather dull. I have heard lots of chatter of late about how there are no good games out. I hear a lot of this system sux, that systems sux, they should have done it that way, they should have done it this way, etc... I read an article about the EA CEO stating that the game developers were boring people to death. I think he may be on track. I even heard that E3 was pretty damn dull. It seems to me like there is no more ingenuity in the gaming world. All games seems like they are built on a previous idea or ripped from another game. Nothing appears to be really fresh and new. There are some games coming out later this year that are being heavily marketed. Really, they are the same old thing in a new package. Sure the graphics will be fantasic, but will that make them fun? I don't know what is going to happen, but it sure seems like 1983/1984 all over again.

I agree with you Cmos. I haven't bought a PS2 game or PC game in at least 4 months. There's just nothing out in the market that really interests me.

They do seem to be remaking the same thing over and over again if people stop playing a game because everyone loses interest why make another. cod 4 it looks ok but I reckon it will split a few,those who want rankings will play on ranked servers and us who just play will play on whatever we set up.unreal tournament they made 3 is it ? people got fed up will the next one be the same gameplay in multiplayer.No one really played quake online so who will play quakewars it has no single player so I will be waiting before I buy a mp only game there does not really seem to be anything on the horizon really to get excited about.

Tell you what, I'm kinda fedup with COD2 and find myself playing a lot of UO. UO is still the best package.

I play s&d, a lot of base assault, rifles only and even retrieval. At least it gives me options and it's a game where you actually have to aim, if you know what I mean.

I COD4 is going to be similar to any game, I hope it will be similar to UO, rather than any other COD, BF2 type of game.

i only play cod2 rifles really, Cant play UO cause i broke it again.

But i do see what you are saying, and have been noticing that, after beating the game Call of Juarez yesterday i was very disappointed in the ending but then realizing it ends like Any other Shooter game, and the story line was like any other one. I only see a few good games coming out in the near future that look actually good, but there is more crappy games now then the good games.

Getting so bored of these new games now i have dug out my N64 to play some classic games, that have great story lines to them and are pretty fun, like Ocarina of time(greatest game of all time), and 007 kicks ass lol

I play UO most the time as well. No game I got beats it. I do play server 3 when plenty of fellas are on. I'll play maybe three or four rounds and then go play some UO.

I really hope CoD4 is a lot like UO, same game types, plenty of weapons and vehicles, and cool maps. Too bad there are no more bolt action though.

interesting concepts, but gameplay designed by a 4th grader.

no, the whole pc game industry is holding their collective vagaga over how to proceed with game production because of the scores of whaa-tards who refuse to upgrade their shit to at least 2 year old technology.

Well the cost of upgrading a PC aint cheap ya know and if it works great why upgrade it? Besides if they do upgrade it then moment they walk out of the store the new upgrade they just bought is out of date.

IT seems pretty funny we get a big response in posting scores in those flash addicting games. I find myself playing those more... Shocked

True, there seems to be a lot of rehashing old stuff. Nothing seems new anymore. Its kind of like the bad AC/DC. They have only one song...they just play it 100 different ways. In other words...same game, it just looks a little different. I have been a gamer for nearly 30 years (Im 37). Since than the 1983/84 crash, the game world hasn't seemed so gloomy to me as it does now. I hope I am wrong.

this is a bunch of crap. Cyber's right... I've played that farking Stairfall game more than any other game except "Bubble shooter" (getting rid of em all takes like... a half hour) http://www.ezprezzo.com/games/Bubble-Shooter-d569.html and all I can say is, WTF GAME INDUSTRY???

#1. I have 2 video cards that EACH cost more than a PS3 (before the price drop.)

#2. I gots me 8 TIMES the RAM of an XBOX 360

#3. I can store every game coming out this year on my PC, and still have room for pr0n.
