thanks freak appreciate the complement. the next step after my ram upgrade will be a couple 8 series graphic cards (and maybe vista in 4-9 months dragging my feet on this for awhile though)

well I got some PNY ddr2 PC6400 ram off eBay real cheap 4x512 for 30 bucks! I'll give it a try
