Not to sound liek a hater or anything... But really.... What good is a DirectX10 card if you'll have to turn OFF DirectX10 functionality in game because the card isn't powerful enough to handle it?
Just something I've always wondered on. Kinda like how so many of us with our DirectX9 cards always changed that setting in CoD2 to get more frames at the beginning.

If you are refering to COD2..it was very poorly writtin. I have yet to see a well writtin DX9 game and I will not see a dx10 game until at least next year ( vista will need a few more updates before I touch it)

true sentiments... my 7900GT's ran ok with dx9, but better with dx7.
however... the trusty 8800 gtx's run dx9 at double the fps of what 2 7900's ran dx7....
so, i guess there's that
