I love science and nature!
I'm not a PETA person by any means, but I don't like to harm animals if it's not necessary.

I've even been known to catch spiders in the house and throw them outside. Well sometimes, if I don't feel like stomping them first. Laughing

Every time I mow my yard I find some critters that I have to get off the mower and save.

Usually I find lots of toads.
I always put them in the flower garden.

Sometimes I find baby bunnies.
I always stop and pick them up and put them in something until I am done mowing.
Then I go find the nest and put them back.
I found these rabbits today while mowing.
They are pretty cool and very friendly when they are babies!
Enjoy the pics.

This is the smallest Praying Mantis I have ever seen.
I don't know how small they start out, but this is the smallest I have ever found.
I thought it was cool and thought others might enjoy seeing it.

Awesome pics. I haven't seen a Praying Mantis in ages. They are extremely neat though.

Looks like you have the same bunny infestation that we have. It doesn't bother me though because it's always cool to see one perched up somewhere in the back yard almost every day.

That's cool guys! Cool

Since we are all from different parts of the country and world.
If anyone has any cool nature pictures, or stories let's see them.

Here's another critter I had to save from the mower.
It's a baby Sparrow.
After these, I'll post some more pics of local wildlife that I have seen.

We found several of these salamanders when we were out on a walk in a dry creek bed.

All we deal with are scorpions in our house.....they like to drop down from the ceiling while we're watching movies Shocked

We've had some deer and skunks also, a few possum, snakes and a rabid mother-in-law.

Hey Studdog, make an appointment for a manicure soon Laughing

You got that right! It wasn't afraid of me at all! It was also hard to photograph, it moved very fast most of the time.

Next time I see that Eagle on my fence, I'll get a picture.

It might be a bald eagle. Either way, it's still really cool.

And so ends another episode of Studdog's Animal Kingdom. Join him next week when he weens KingSpartan away from the computer and back into the wilderness (I wonder if he'll find his way back home). A touching moment for any animal lover. Rolling Eyes Very Happy
