How do I merge 2 things together for photoshop?

Select the layers you want to merge in the Layer pallette. Hold down the CTRL key and click on each layer. Then go up to Layers in the menu and down at the bottom you will see MERGE LAYERS. That will then merge the layers you have selected.

Im sorry im sorry I should have worded that better.
I mean like if I had a picture of me right? and like I wanted ...
lets say my finger..
If I wanted to murge them together, to look like my fingers were stuck together.
That kind of merging?
