He died along with 2 friends and his 5 year old son, Johnny. A legend in the Rally world, a tragic loss, Colin McRae was a fine driver and will be missed. Only recently (due to me playing Colin McRae DiRT) have I been watching videos, looking at biography and so forth. I was really getting into it ya know. He was a great driver that introduced the world of Rally driving into a whole new audience. Thoughts go out to his wife and family. I will be playing DiRT a lot today. We can only hope it was quick and they died instantly and suffered no pain. From the Ford Escort Cosworth to the Subaru - always competitive. He was great for the sport and will be missed.
