Oh yeah, girls go for "the bad guy", "the mean guy" and one forum that I posted on a while ago edited bad words changed it to "not such a nice guy".
WOW did that just take away the meaning of it.

I agree, saying "bad guy" or "mean guy" doesn't get the true point across--you can be bad or mean, but there's a difference between that and being an asshole.

Why are you looking for such a simplistic answer? Sorry but it doesnt exist. Its life and life is complicated. Its the ups and downs of life that make us who we are. Granted no one likes to have their heart broken, but at the same time the old saying of "its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at tall" always rings true. One chick on the road of life only makes one experience. That is not the only experience you will have. However you cannot experience if you are locked in a room drinking redbull and playing computer games. Computer games are a distraction from life not a substitute for it.
So now you move on. Maybe needy girl will end up being an actual friend.

LOL, This wasn't made to be taken dead seriously, but the basics I believe hits the nail on the head.
However it is good argument material....
I could careless anymore. I let the girls approach me, I don't go looking. If I am their material, then they will pursue me.
As I said before this is not my writing... I just thought it would make excellent post material.
90% of the time, the Asshole will get the girl

I've played by the rules being a true gentlemen and all the chivery one man can have.
but if you want to get laided...
 Here's the trick: Don't be a gentleman. NEVER open a door for her, pull out a chair at a restaurant or offer to pay for anything. Call her names, be rude to her.Then, and only then, will you catch her eye. Remember, nice guys finish last!

That in my opinion is the best thing you can do not to look #1 and let them "tell" you they are interested sometimes it is without words.
Just my thoughts..
There are 3 major "types of guys" category's
1. Really good looking guys
2. Rich guys
3. Famous guys
I would rather not classify guys as being "nice or "bad" or asshole I think it goes a little deeper in thought than that and you can agree that not all assholes "gets the girl" right?
To cop out and say I am nice and that's why I don't get the chicks to me is just dumb "not saying you are dumb just saying that the easy way out"
without knowing you or how you act it's hard to find the cause, maybe you are just going after the wrong type of women to start with? but that is something you must figure out.
Now every guy who wants more girls around should do this or have this.
1. Attitude
2. Patience and Relinquishing Desire
3. Infrastructure
ATTITUDE: Attitude is crucial. Maintaining a positive, upbeat and enthusiastic attitude is very important. Enthusiasm is an essential part of attitude. Don't complain about anything. We are aware of how sensitive women are so keep the negative comments about people and things to yourself.
CONFIDENCE: Why do women love confidence? Because it makes them feel secure. so think at all those guys who you have called assholes where they confident? I am betting they were. Now there is a difference between confidence and cockiness.
One of the biggest misconceptions that guys have is that girls like jerks. Guys think that by trying to be cocky and arrogant girls will like them. The truth is that girls like guys because they fit into one or more of the categories. Once they like a guy because he is hot, rich or famous, the guys can get away with being a bit of a jerk and the girl will still like him. She likes him less but not enough to deter her from being with a hot,rich or famous guy. The bottom line is that it's not the jerk part of the guy they go for; it's the category he's in.
Patience and Relinquishing Desire: Women know we want them pretty much if they say hi so have patience let go of the desire to say crass comments or sex innuendos. If a woman wants something NOTHING WILL STOP HER FROM GETTING IT. Most guys actually think that they have some type of choice in the matter when actually the woman is in complete control, A woman knows within 25 seconds of metting a guy if she is going be with him. * stat not actual +/- 15 seconds.
INFRASTRUCTURE: Having women around you and not trying to be with them will get more women around you that will want to be with you. A good rule to follow dont be with a woman untill you meet at least 2 of her friends. This is simple say she is hot but her friend might be hotter and might like you more than this girl you just met, patience with get you a friend and maybe more. I am not saying do women stuff with them just saying maybe she has friends that you will get along better with.
What women need is emotinal support, lets face it women's lives are much tougher than a men's. example.. 15% of girls (1 in 7) have been the victim of rape or sexual assault by age 25. also approximately 40% of girls have become pregnant by age 20 and 18% of them have had either and abortion or a miscarriage.
so ONE OUT OF EVERY 6 OR 7 GIRLS YOU SEE HAS EITHER BEEN RAPED, SEXUALLY ASSAULTED, HAD AN ABORTION, OR HAD A MISCARRIAGE.
another stat: by age 20 up to 3.2% of girls are anorexic and up to 3.6% of girls are bulimic. Bottom line is that women have it tough and most guys never acknowledge this. And so often guys complain about the emotional baggage women carry around. You can't fix it just be aware of it.
if this helps great if not then win the lottery, have plastic surgery or get famous ...........

Great thoughts! I agree with you, the 3 types of guys you listed will always get the girl, lol, no matter what. You look good, you got it, your rich, you got it, your famous you got it. Just as you said, most of these get confident in who they are and let the real side come out without thinking twice. (This brings up more ideas for different post for more topics, but I'll get to that another day.)
Not all but most of these guys, fit the categories you chose.
LoL, once again, I didn't write this, but it is great debate material! I got a girl now, but that is only after she called me up, she pursued me......

You gotta love when a girl turns you down because they want to be "just friends." Then they wind up with another guy sometimes a complete one time stranger, and a few months later single with a baby in the oven because the guy didn't want to stick around. Really good looking guys, Maybe. Rich guys, Maybe. Famous, Maybe. Asshole? Yes.... LOL
Then again, I guess they realize who the asshole is at this point.
I'm glad us men don't carry the baby
No wonder so many divorces come about. They wake up one morning and WOW!

Very true my friend!
However, they don't truly "get" the girl. I guess the reason these guys are such good friends with these girls is because the girls know that these guys DO NOT WANT THEM in anyway, but a simple friend. A simple friend without the tie ups of the nice guy who could/would have possible interest in them. In part, this could relate to the Asshole, So part of it has the feeling of being safe, but I BET part of it has to be because they want to possibly change these guys back to being straight! Just a thought......
They don't go to the nice guy or the asshole for designer, decoration tips, no they would rather spend a day\night with the gay guy before even consulting one of their girl friends. Hmm if its not the assholes its the gay guys.
So nice guys either have to become gay, which then they will never "get" the girl, or become an Asshole which if they are truly a nice guy, will not be able to keep up the ACT and thus be left to rot once this is realized by the girl. Once again a Lose Lose Situation for the nice guy.
