uZa and the Regulars – or How I Spend My Evenings

Each night they surround me, I am to blame
I let them in, that we may play a game
A motley crew to be sure, but they each have a certain allure
With these few lines I hope to relate
Why with this Clan I have cast my fate.

There’s Gomer Pyle with his greeting, Heyyyyy!
I assure you all he is not gay
And Matt Baker is on, that lad of good cheer,
Can someone please get him a beer?

Over there, up on the roof,
Killjoy is camping, F12 shows the proof
Bullet Sponge is also ready and able,
Now that he got rid of that god-awful cable.

That most jovial of players, Dellis is here,
His humor always brings much good cheer
What’s this, a girl, Enelya by name,
As an object of desire she has achieved some fame.

And there’s CG with a voice smooth as silk,
No doubt because she drinks a lot of Moose milk
We even have a detective named Hogan
Knowing his limits is his favorite slogan.

Studdog is here to achieve gaming glory
He makes quite a mess when he marks his territory
Seleana and Banty, both of golden voice
Would prefer pooning to singing if given a choice.

Once known as King Spartan he has changed his name
Now Tactical Assassin still owns the game
Dupont on occasion rare,
With his presence to grace us he does dare.

Is it Jawbones or Jobbones, it’s very confusing
But I’ve no time to ponder as I am still losing
Here comes Ranger a lad quite stout
As he shoots me again I begin to pout.

Bodybagfiller spends his days with the dead
Then comes on server 3, to remove those thoughts from his head
Who’s that, why it’s Ultra with Jr. nearby
Turn the TV down is the father’s harried cry.

From South Africa he comes, DoubleBogey7
From the Dark Continent to the States, must seem like Heaven
Goliath had his David to knock him dead
For us there’s a fellow called Slinginglead.

HiTechRedneck likes camping, this can’t be denied
We have to seek because he likes to hide
Sgtholinyerhed finds time to play
When not posting in the forums every day.

Yours truly is here each and every night
To watch me play may cause a fright
For over a year I have played this damn game
My poor exhibition is really a shame.

To omit a name was not my thrust
I hope they don’t read this with a sense of disgust
So in closing please know that my intentions are pure
You are all good friends that is for sure.

The stress of the day, the frustration I feel
All goes away with our game playing zeal
I hope it continues for many more years
But if my score doesn’t improve I’ll be in tears.

So take heart my friends, have fun one and all
This computer game us all does enthrall
I’ll be here tomorrow come hell or high water
After all, you guys need someone to slaughter.

Cynic the poet;
I did not know!
He puts words to paper
that just seem to flow.

As far as your score
you know it doesn't matter;
we all so enjoy your
company and chatter!

Just live to fight another day
and do the best you can,
