Scorpius update!!

I just got off the phone with Scorpius and he had a doctor appt yesterday that was promising.....since last week Scorpius has been feeling ill with his platelette's at around 30,000 (normal healthy human is approx 250,000-300,000) and was suroprised to hear that his platelette's are currently above 80,000 which is more than a 100% increase...so very promising. Now this is certainly good news and did boost the spirits of Gene.....realize he heard this 2-3 weeks ago and after his platelette's decreased again....sooooooo, let us pray strong and hard that he maintains his platelette's and they increase. We will know in 2 more weeks on the next Dr. visit. If his platelette's drop again, therre are only 2 more options to go with for beating this and Scorpius doesn't want to have to go that route....PRAY STRONG FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY, you have no idea how much this helps him having this big, strong support group behind him...he appreciates every one of you for it!!!!

I spoke to Gene myself last Saturday and Sunday, and we had a lot of fun on the phone. He said he had not laughed that much since two months. He sounded a lot better and more positive than during my last call, some three weeks ago.
My family prays for Gene and his family every single day!

I will shoot him a PM rightaway!!

I spoke to Gene on Sunday and he's spirits were up as it is most the time.

I'll have to call him tonight again since it's their wedding anniversary.
