Thats a bummer, Our server is ranked, I lost mine when i went to an unranked server. It p*ssed me off to no end.

backup your Program Files\Activision\Profiles folder, then if you get whiped just restore the folder.

when i get that serious about a game just take me to prison and tie me to the
sink.
"stored locally" suggests the rankings can possibly be backed up easily, and or hacked easily.

That is pretty sad that people are getting that pissed about it, it's a game. I would be fustrated, but I wouldn't drop the game. But on another not think about this, WOW players loosing their rank and inventory. I think we would have a world wide riot...LOL
