No ren, get the GT, it keeps up with the GTX almost, but surpasses the GTS. It also is under the price of the GTS. Running 2 of the GT's will do better than good!!

Take it from someone who OWNS an 8800GTS (Although mine's the 640mb version).... Get the 8800GT. Trust me. Best bang for the buck out there right now.

Ok well there is a huge shortage of 8800gt at the moment they are due in 2 weeks at most stores here.Looks like the xfx alpha dog series are nice even faster than the superclocked evga.

I don't know much about the XFX series but I have always used EVGA. I currently have the EVGA 8800GT Superclocked and I am very impressed with it. I see that the plain XFX 8800gt is about the cheapest which would be great for you if you're gonna run in SLI mode. Best buy had them on sale last week here for $240, and they sold out the first couple hours they had them. Although...if your budget looks good and you wanna run SLI with the alpha dog, then you got something there bad a**.

Should be fine with that but what about your power supply? I would say you need at least a 600 watter.
