Ordered 8800GT SuperClocked |
|
|
I just ordered the 8800GT Superclocked after days of searching online for a website that had any type of 8800GT in stock. Has anyone picked up one of these cards yet? If you have, what type of performance are you pulling out of it?

Stats look REAL good on that card for the money. Let us know how it works.

I have two gigs of ram and this card coming in. That will combined with an overclocked dual core processor. I want to put it to the test on Crysis. I highly doubt I'll be able to run with everything maxed out, but I'm sure it will run with most settings on high. The 8800GT just seemed too good to pass up for the price and the power.

Munky,
Also try Tom's Hardware Guide. Each month they update a video card article with the best cards by price point. They also do reviews on a regular basis. They can be a little one sided at times, but it is a good place from some data points for comparison

Saw your post in the other thread, put the voltage back to normal, then apply rivatuner. Do not increase the voltage it is not needed to open pipes. Again, go to www.guru3d.com to get the tools to unlock the card. Im not sure in mvktech is still around, but if they are you could also flash the bios on the card to change it from gs/xt to ultra.

The card is awesome. That is what I have running with an AMD 6000 dual core. I am very happy with it.
