Darth Vader Desktop |
|
|
This was a complicated ordeal......first I had to find the right Darth picture and then had to place it in "extract" and cut away all the white film. The light saber that the original picture had was not working out so I removed it completely from the picture, created a new layer and made my own light saber.
Made it from a white paint brush and then added some filters.
I also added the lights on Vader's chest panel with some layers and color glows.
I then added some touches like the galaxy, a planet and then a grid to the left side. I didn't add any text because it's rather over crowded right now as it is so I may later remove some things but this is what I have for now, came out pretty cool I think.
If you want to use it feel free to download it.

That is pretty sweet! I like it alot. The only one thing I would suggest is the left side design. Maybe fade it out a little so that any desktop icons might look to busy on top of it. Great work on recreating the lightsabre as well. It looks freaking awesome. I always hated trying to cut away anything that glows, on fire, or wild hair. Good to see some work coming back out from ya. I've been down for awhile and then even longer now that video card died on my main system I have PS on .

Hey thanks Cyber
I agree that the grid either needs to be toned down (actually it's at about 70% opacity) or perhaps removed altogether and replaced with something where the user can place their icons in. I'll work on that later today perhaps and post up a revised version.
Thanks again

Just think of it as a VERY large sig...LOL. I actually like wallpaper designing better than sigs, more room to work with.

On a serious note, very sweet background! The lightsaber you created looks pretty darn real to me, I wouldn't have known the difference if you hadn't told me.
