This was way back when speedball was just starting to come around. Automags, Mini-mags, Autocockers, and Tippmans were king. LOL!
We played a lot of CTF and scenario games. The fields we played at were near a small airport and we got some junk planes moved over and made it look like a war zone. Another field was in waist high grass, a few short thick bushes and a skinny ditch that ran the length down one side. We had an army tent in the staging area that was hugh. The guy at the army surplus store said four men could put it up in about 30 minutes. What he MEANT was 4 MARINES could put it up in 30 minutes, because it took six civilians and a John Doe two hours to put it up!

I still have some of my gear just in case. I sold my matrix and still have my shocktech bushmaster along with my Gen7 bushmaster. We only played speedball, airball. Loved it. I have a trophy over my lazy boy of the best tourney we had. We beet a semi pro team. It was great. Think about this. {GBI} and uZa combining to make a super paintball team. LOL that would be the sh*t

That's how I got started with paintball. A bunch of guys from an online BBS (yes the old dial-up type, before the internet), got together and went and played paintball with the original Splatmaster pistols. That was great fun! I was hooked.

one dude from my current cod4 clan plays pro paintball for the LA something or others. Makes over $300,000 a year from endorsement deals. Its bleeping ridiculous
