Well as a lot of you know, my wife was involved in an injury traffic accident just before Christmas. This was the 7th crash this car has been in since we bought it 3 years ago, the first that was her fault. This past weekend we went out and looked at many cars and only anticipated test driving cars to see what we wanted, becasue her car (2005 Toyota Camry) was still in the body shop being repaired. Well we drove, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Volvo, etc. The dealership we found the car we wanted in was very nice to deal with and accepted our trade in sight unseen, of course we did not tell them it was in a body shop. But we made the deal and drove home her new car. This week when her wreck is fixed, we take it to the dealership then.

Since she wreck the car, I made her drive the rental car home and I drove this one home Twisted Evil . It the Audi A4, turbo charged, S-Line, sedan. It is an automatic transmission, but with the S-line, it makes it a sport. If you put the gear shift in (S), then you can manually shift the gears, which are paddle shifters on the steering wheel. It also has a "slap Shifter" mode, and those that know racing cars know this one. But you can slap the shifter into the next gear. Or if you put it in (D) it is an automatic trans and you dont have to do anything. We also have 4 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

In Germany, the Germans use the Mercedes as their work car and the Audi as their luxery car. Consumer reports highly recommended this car, so we got it.

Anyway I was excited and wanted to share our car with you all.

Nice Col. We considered an A4 last year, but with two kids it was a bit small in the back seat - and the A6 was out of our price range.

It should serve well for many years. Smile

Very nice car!

I've always liked the look of the A4, but can't drive yet, nor will I get a car like that for my first car...Lol

Well, hope you enjoy the car, it sounds like it's a lot of fun, so have fun with it and STAY SAFE!!!

Creeper, I guess the oil changes go up with the newness of the car, they told me every 10-13,000 miles and it is about $250.00. Heck I pay about $50.00 an oil change now every 3-4000 miles, so figure 3 or 4 of them and I am almost there.

Thanks Spam. My first car was a 1972 Pontiac Ventura 2 door in Kelly Green, but that was 30 years ago. Laughing
