Growing up in the 80s.
You know you grew up in the 80's when:
1. You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE".
2. You can sing the rap to the "Fresh Prince of Belair " ...and can do the "Carlton".
3. You owned those lil' Strawberry Shortcake pals scented dolls.
4. "WOAH " comes from Joey on Blossom.
5. Two words: HAMMER PANTS.
6. If you ever watched "Fraggle Rock ".

7. You had plastic streamers on your handle bars... and "spokey-dokes" or playing cards on your spokes for that incredible sound effect.
(i had both on my banana seat bike  )
8. When it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
9. You saw the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles " on the big screen... and still know the turtles names.
10. You wore stonewashed Jordache jean jackets and were proud of it.
11. You know the profound meaning of "WAX ON, WAX OFF".
12. You wanted to be a Goonie.
13. You ever wore fluorescent clothing. (some of us... head-to-toe)
14. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf.
15. You know all the words to Bon Jovi - SHOT THROUGH THE HEART.
16. You just sang those words to yourself.
17. You remember boom boxes. and walking around with one on your shoulder like you were all that.
18. You remember New Kids on the Block when they were cool... and don't even flinch when people refer to them as "NKOTB".

I graduated (HS) in 82, I know all that shtuff too well.

i know alot of those things, older siblings are from the 80's.
i ended up being a 90's kid.

haha love it. The 80's ruled, I don't care what anybody says. You would catch me skating some old powell peralta board wearing a jimmy Z t-shirt listening to alphaville.
Funny, because just yesterday I asked a guy of 23 at work if he ever heard of Fraggle Rock and he never had!! OMGFRAGGLEWTF!! Used to be able to steal HBO back then with a little black box

Now, looking back, this was stupid, but I found that if I stuck a fork in the little black box just right late night HBO came in.....

I think my bike did....
I found a few more....brings back bad memories....
-You practice getting in and out of your car through the windows
-Your first Walkman weighed 10 pounds and was the size of a brick.
-You had a poster of Bo, Luke & Daisy Duke (i had one of the Bo & Luke  )
-Two words: The Clapper.
-Ferris Bueller was your idol.
-Your bangs are teased perfectly to 7 inches above the rest of your hair.
-You know whose phone number is 867-5309
-You still can't believe that Milli Vanilli was deceiving you all that time
-You still argue over who was better: Tiffany or Debbie Gibson
-And this ended off the 80s...

I missed all that, I grew up in the 70's. All though I do remember some of it, was young at heart and still am.
