Cool ranger build idea |

I came across a similar build, and thought to myself, "I bet I can improve this build". And I did (Well, I think so). Giving Rangers a whole new role  Finally, a "In your face" ranger build! (I haven't tried it yet, but it seems very usable, so I thought to post it. I'll edit this post with my results when I test it--gotta raise my Norn title  )
What you need:
Prophecies
Factions
Eye of the North
High Norn Title (the higher, the better--max is preferred)
Skills:
Point Blank Short-----(Will refer to as PBS)
Zojun's Shot-----(Will refer to as ZS)
"I Am the Strongest!"-----(Will refer to as "IATS!")
Glass Arrows
"I Am Unstoppable!"-----(Will refer to as "IAU!")
Lightning Reflexes-----(Will refer to as LR)
Troll Unguent-----(Will refer to as Troll)
Res OR "Finish Him!" if res isn't needed
Skill/Attribute Template: OgATcZMmR6yAVam8Vims4w3QAA
Attributes:
Marksmanship: 8+1
Expertise: 12+1+3
Wilderness Survival: 8
Runes:
Minor Marksmanship
Superior Expertise
Highest possible Vigor
Either 2 Attunements or Vitaes (I prefer the Vitaes for extra health)
Insignias:
Full Scout's (+10 armor while using a Preparation)
Usage:
Before going into battle, use Glass Arrows. Refresh as needed.
Use "IATS!". Reuse it as it recharges.
Spam PBS and ZS on your target.
If you are being attacked, use "IAU!".
If "IAU!" and monks aren't working, use LR+Troll to prevent and heal damage.
If you bring "Finish Him!", use it on a high-priority target, such as a monk or ritualist. This will cut the chance of the enemy regaining it's health. (Deep Wound cuts healing)

Have you tried it out? If so, how does it play?
I haven't gotten around to trying it yet (raising Norn title...) so tell me how it is.

Oh, hell man, last time I was really online to play GW was first 2 weeks of EotN's release 
I've done a similar build, but this is definately changed up.
Way the old one worked though fireing with a Shortbow + point blank shots like listed I tended to attract the attention of enemies easier so i learned to bring Dust trap to scatter em off me, then cripple trap or one of the traps that cripple them so i can run back shoot them, sort of play with them till they were dead.
Guess you could call it a tanking ranger, but its more like kiting them around till they drop. Works best obviously with meleeing players.

I cant believe i missed this! /facepalm
Doing great, Raiding/school has kept me off of GW for a loooong while
Ill keep hopping on here and there to see if i can catch any of you all on - prolly be on after school, 3-4pm central time
