Need help with a Logo |

I belong to a small church that is paying an outside source to build us a website. We have been asked to submit a church logo. Unfortunately we don't have one. We also do not have individuals that are able to make one. I told my Pastor I would make a post to see if I could get some help. Is anyone interested in making us a logo? It would be greatly appreciated.
If interested in helping, the only thing the Pastor requested was our church name included. I've given some additional information that can be used or not, and from there just use your imagination. We don't have any particular colors, so again let your creativity fly. I will share any/all with the Pastor and let him make a choice.

NAME: Lighthouse Baptist Church
LOCATION: Lafayette, IN
TYPE: Independant Fundamental Baptist
BIBLE: KJV, King James Version

I don't know how to create a logo (not very artistic), but I have a picture in my mind's eye. See what you think of this:
A lighthouse in a thick fog (the fog should be obvious, but the lighthouse can still be easily seen). The beams of light emanate from the top. The beam closest to the front of the logo comes to the ground (in the foreground of the picture) and there is seen in the light an image of Jesus - arms outstretched, welcoming).
Huh? What do you think? 
I may not be able to draw, but I can think.

But wait a minute, how do we make an image of Jesus? We don't know what he looked like? Iv'e seen where some think he looks like a hippie with a toga, but that's not how I imagine him. I bet he was short and muscular. How about we just settle for the next best thing. Let's put an image of Hillary Clinton there.

You want the church to spend good money for a sign that will surely be defaced, shot at, or burned down???

I don't know that she is the Anti-Christ, but she got to be related to him!

This is version 2. I added some sunset colors to a layer sandwiched between some background layers and then erased the star. This adds a bit of color.
