Darn Red Rings... |

I got em today  But the odd part is, my system worked fine an hour ago!
So yeah no xbox 360 for me for a while

Smack the side of it and try a few times, no use of giving up, i have another friend who has the red lights recently but it still works.
Might be some Canadian thing.

I tried smacking it, lol i think I broke something, because now there is something rattling inside when I move it LOL...
I'll just let Microsoft fix it, but since the guy told me it'll take 3 weeks at a max after shipping it, on the 22nd day, if it isn't on my doorstep, I'm going to rant to Microsoft until they give me $300-$400 for a new 360.

Smacking it won't do any good. The only thing that will fix it is superheating it and causing the connectors to melt back together, but I wouldn't recommend that. Just send it back. It'll be here in 2-3 weeks.
If you want to try something else in the meantime, google the 360 towel trick.

Yeah, I heard about the tricks already, didn't wanted to try the towel trick because if I burn down my house I'm screwed big time 
Like I said, after 3 weeks goes by, and if my 360 isn't back, Microsoft will be in big trouble with me

this afternoon, turned my friends 360 on, red lights, then i said darn, tried again and it worked.
i have yet to see this major break down, that i hear all about over the internet lol.
All my friends who have gotten it, just try again, and it works.

I got the rings a while ago, did the turn off/on trick and it worked, now that doesn't even work.

I am currently waiting for my 360 console to be sent back to me by microsoft. It has been a couple weeks now, so I hope to get it back in a week or so!
