Any of you use a macro lens? I do have one for my Canon SLR...looking at another one. I love messing around with it.
What do you use or recommend? I have looked at a few.

| CG, I shoot with 3 lenses, the 105mm Macro, a Tokina 12-24 F4 IF DX (wide angle) and the all purpose 18-200mm DX. All made for digital and highly recommended. If you really want to spice up macro, toss in a 3 part extension tube. It's pretty inexpensive and allows 1:1 close ups. Your dog will hate you.

lol, this was kinda taken away from the lens subject.
I use a Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens for my Cannon, A very high end one, got it for free from my uncle who is a photographer.
i tend to take more film pictures, digital looks nice and all, but what ever happened to actually developing your own prints, you have a greater love for it when you learn how.

Here are some pics that I have taken over the last few years with both my Canons...35mm and Digital....
I do like using my macro more, but also taking taking landscapes. Though I might look into an Extension tube.

Those are all excellent CG, but those last three are killer. Yea, I took a macro class last year and the instructor had us using the various extension tubes all over the place along with small flashlights to highlight our subjects. I use them with that 105 macro but imagine the 60mm macro would work great also.
