OMG! She's BALD!!!

Well Mrs. UD, or as she is know to some of you Trish, has gone and done it NOW!! Shocked

ALL for a great cause through- St. Baldrick's Foundation in conjunction with the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. The event was held on Sat-03/15 around the world in 13 countries and in 46 states!

Now that I've got the skinny out of the way... she had her head shaved BALD!!! Shocked

Here's the bare photos!

The little girl standing next to Trish (whom she sponsored) is the recipient of treatment for Leukemia By the NCCF and is in remission! Very Happy

The total amount of money raised by the pub was over $18,000 and Trish raised $3450 by herself! If u are ever in Brandon Florida please stop by O'Toole's on Hwy 60 and raise a pint, they are truly our neighborhood pub.

I apologize for the long post but... Very Happy

A great time was had by ALL!

PS.. I am not worthy of this great person (MRS.UD) who puts everyone first before herself! (a teary eye while typing!)

That's such a great thing to do! Not a whole lot of women would give up their hair in ANY situation. Sounds like you were lucky enough to stumble across a perfect lady.

Thank you one and all, I'll pass the congats onto her. I don't know where she finds time for everything she does, between her special needs students and Special Olympics, best buddy's club, and Church Bible camp.

I did not fully appreciate what she had done until last night when just about every lady at the St.Paddy's Day celebration congratulated her then said that they wouldn't shave their heads!

Yes there are still good and selfless people, and that includes everyone of you my clan brothers and sisters, in this screwed up world! I would also like to include the regular non-clan posters, your kind words and support are much appreciated.

As someone in another post said, "your my brother/sister from a different mother!" (Sry if that's a mis-quote)

I know everyone of you have known someone close that has cancer or was taken too soon by cancer. Please know that some of us still care and will continue the good fight.
