Hi CG, Merry Christmas to you.
Sure, I'll go as I have a few ...
In general I want to become a better Christian, husband, father, man and person.
Specifically ...
The plan is to lose another 20LBS. I bought a
bicycle in the second half of summer and have dropped from 228LBS (An obese BMI) to 208LBS (An overweight BMI). I'd like to get down to 188LBS next year. The upper limit of the normal BMI range for me is 179LBS but I don't have that as a goal as I've always been heavier than the guy next to me. Besides the last time I weighed that much was when I was 16 years old and seriously SUPERFIT.
I plan to ride my first century (100 mile/ 160km bike ride) early next Summer and want to ride at least 4 of them.
I want to get to a fitness level where I can test myself in the RAIN - Ride Accross Indian - a one day 160 mile / 260 km cycling event.
I want a resting heartbeat of 47 or less again ... It's been about 14 years since I've had that and I have that hunger to be fit again. I recall our physical education fitness test when I was 16 years old and my resting BMP was 39 - Probably won't see that again but as I'm sitting here my BPM is 57so I seem to have a strong ticker. I have to lose 10 beats per minute - That will take some effort but I'm up for it.
I want to meet my friend Gene Willson in person!
Some lofty goals but I can do it

Ride your bike to visit Gene, then you will make all your goals at one time.
