Pretty happy about this, ive been going on for the past few years we need and want more NHL teams in Canada.
True North Sports and Entertainment purchased the Atlanta Thrashers today to be relocated to Winnipeg. They lost their team in 1996 when the team moved to Phoenix and that left a big void in the city and that Province. This is the second time Atlanta has lost a team, back in '81 the Atlanta flames moved to Calgary. They should really stop putting teams into areas were there is little to no interest in hockey.
