Scheduled to be released October 12, 2010. Take place in the mountains of Afghanistan. EA is the main developer on the game and DICE is going to be doing the mulitplayer. Production has been broken up into these 2 entities to focus on their part of the gameplay respectively.

Here's the new trailer titled, "Leave a Message". It sets the tone for a game that's more than just action-packed mayhem; Maybe there's more to it.

This is the main selling point for me on Medal of Honor, The CoD Ops trailers while good only showed us what we have seen and what we expect. Games may last unchanged for some time, but eventually people will get tired of it. Im hoping Medal of Honor brings something exciting and refreshing to the table.
Game play wise, it looks VERY identical to COD:MW, but the maps look epic, and vehicle warfare changes things, too. It looks interesting to me.

I am getting more interested in this game. In fact I think I will go pre-order it. I was going to get it for the single player anyhow.
I played the MP beta for this and all I can say is it was VERY lackluster compared to even BFBC:2. Theres only 2 guns per class for each side. The sniper is nothing like the BC2 sniping. No bullet drop or no recoil it felt like a console game for how quickly I could turn my mouse. I couldn't change it either but then again they prolly didn't have that implemented into the game for the beta.
The Marines/Army get the M16 with a noob tube of course or the M249 SAW for when you hit like lvl 5 on the assault setup. The sniper class starts off with a semi-auto rifle with a red dot site instead of a scope. You have to earn your scope for it. The 2nd gun is a bolt action sniper I think the M21. Then the spec ops guy which is like the Demolitions guy has a M4 Carbine and a rocket launcher now the rockets when I hit anyone or near them didn't even hurt them. The 2nd weapon was a shotgun.
Now the Taliban/Insurgents whatever you want to call them basically get everything the exact opposite. Assault is Ak-47 of course then earning the PKM LMG later on. I don't remember what Sniper they were using but it was probably the Duraganov. The spec ops guy had the Ak-74u.
I don't know I am personally looking forward to Black Ops more. Total customization of your character, the wager matches, Actually getting the gun when you want it instead of waiting for lvl 60 for the gun that's the most op or the one that you like. And with dedicated servers its sounding like its going to be more like MW1 instead of MW2. Eventually they are releasing Mod and Map tools not right away but they said it to be confirmed. Granted its dedicated servers is only thru Gameservers.com but isn't that what uZa uses for its servers?

We do rent our servers through Gameservers. My concern is that once again Activision are dictating what we can and cannot do. We will be having to use their dire VAC once again which we all know is a total failure. They have ruined Cod online for PC players, as have Dice ruined BFBC2 for their players, by not supporting the PC community. The console gamers who buy their maps are on map pack 5 for Battlefield. To be honest I am not bothered myself, I will continue to play WOW, Team Fortress, and await Guild Wars 2
They only game I have ever seen hackers on with VAC was MW2. You said you play TF2 which its anti cheat is VAC. Have you seen any hackers in there? I sure haven't when I played that game. The implementation of VAC to MW2 was the problem when VAC could literally be shut off with a VAC disabler. VAC wasn't designed for peer to peer its designed just like punkbuster to work with Admins to catch the hacks to report what hack they might be using so they can close the holes that the hacker is using.
Sure eventually the game code will be cracked by the hackers that will keep trying to get cracked servers but with admins on the server most of the time you will not see many hackers in the popular servers. Personally I am looking forward more towards Black Ops than MoH simply because BFBC:2 was just plain boring. MoH is just like it but more watered down. Its going to become a sniper fest like BC2 was.
