I've been checking this game out for a while, and it just came out today. It's an MMO, but the cool part is it is subscription free! But it's still a good $59 bucks. It's essentially a shooter, but it plays in third person. It seems as though this game attempts to expand on Borderlands. Instead of a four-player co-op, you're in a huge world with a bunch of other players, and you can join up and go on missions together.

The customization is apparently in great detail, and you are not limited by classes. This gameplay video appears to show off co-op missions and competitive multiplayer elements of the game. Something to look into.
