They are comparing it to the Spanish Flu Epidemic in 1919, everyone should get their shots then, it killed 40 million.

This is really starting to stir people up. It's become a global concern in a matter of days. It's getting me thinking, because I heard some cases were right here in San Antonio, but I'm trying not think about it too much.

And no, I'm never planning on going to Mexico. Even if this new swine flu wasn't a factor. Mexico is a gang-twisted, corrupt government, and the swine flu is just another great reason to add to the list for why not to go to Mexico.

24 hour a day cable news channels need something to fill up all that time. 40 confirmed cases in the U.S. does not an epidemic make. n6

I think the "suspected" reports of it in Europe and Spain are just due to overreaction and paranoia. "Oh, he's coughing! Isolate him, quick!!" I find it hard to believe that a new virus like this is suddenly erupting everywhere. I think everyone may be sort of overreacting because it's new.

Lots of people from Europe travel to Mexico, so it is not all that strange. I myself travelled from Holland to Turkey, Brazil and China in just 8 days three years ago. This spreading can go very quick.

That's true... I guess I tend to forget how many people actually go to Mexico a year because I dislike it so much.

I think camping in the mountains sounds like a good idea this summer....

I don't feel like travelling right now. One of my friends is suppose to leave this weekend for Cancun, for her wedding.
