Well it has taken me a while to get my M-4 completed and I am almost there. I am adding a scope mount that bolts to the carry handle, and adding a red dot site, and I will finally be ready for WWIII!!!!! I have about 600 rounds for it and 6 30-round mags, one 40 rounder. Sorry the pics are not that great took it with my camera phone, I took it at work. I will take more with all my toys a in few days! Just added the four-rail forearm and front pistol grip. I found a great website with very reasonable prices: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/Default.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; they have some of the most reasonable prices I have seen in a long time. This weapon is my patrol rifle that I carry anytime I work in a marked unit. The forehandle does have the pressure switch for the tact light. Anyway was excited to finally get most of it together and wanted to share.

Very nice Hogan!! Would be fun to play with, but I don't think Indiana would let me take it deer hunting.

Thanks everyone.

Matt Baker: When I worked uniformed patrol, it is in a rack right next to my shotgun. Ever since the Hollywood shootout, they have really let us start carrying patrol rilfes. Pistols and Shotty's are no match for body armor. I've carried this one for the last 10 years on patrol. At least if a badguy is in body armor, we stand a chance now!

It has taken me a long time to get this M4 up to snuff, I bought a little at a time and my red dot sight comes in next week.

OMG, that looks awesome, Steve! 8-) I am happy to have you in my clan! :)

I remember you had a similar gun and a shot gun in your patrol car, when you let me sit behind the wheel a few years back. That was a great experience!

One thing I never understood about the Hollywood Shootout: Was there no officer available with a rifle to take a head shot??? Granted, I know that for the most part that is the last thing any cop wants to do, but with that much lead flying around, it just makes sense to me...

Looking sweet there Hogan. Need to stock up on a lot more ammo ;) I personally like the telescoping stock, I know it bothers some people though. Hehe, that looks like fun to shoot though.

I should post a pic with me and the FN-FAL at the range.
